Ever been on a treadmill?
Running and running for hours and hours.
But no matter how much energy you exert, you get nowhere.
As I push, I imagine the treads breaking free and I can escape.
The running is tiring.
Once the treads break, I will be strong enough to withhold however far I need to run.
The resistance is making me tougher.
The resistance is making me weak.
Which will come first? Making it to the breaking tread? Or falling down?
